Wyong Labor's Plan to Combat the Cost of Living Crisis

Wyong Labor understands that local families are struggling with the cost of living crisis and that this is something affecting people across our region and society.

Wyong Labor has a practical and positive plan to combat the cost of living crisis on the Central Coast.

Wyong Labor commits to providing cheaper childcare for local residents and making this our number one priority in the campaign.

Wyong Labor commits to freezing the fees and charges for sporting and community groups.

Wyong Labor is opposed to the extension of the extreme rate rises and believes that council should focus on a back to basics approach, cut wasteful spending on unnecessary projects and diversify council incomes to stop locals being slugged for more.  

Wyong Labor believes that through working with the NSW Government that we can reduce peoples water rates with recent legislative changes through the NSW Parliament.
